What is MailerLite and Why Use This Integration?

MailerLite is an email marketing platform used to build subscriber lists, send campaigns, and run automations. When you connect MailerLite to a LanderLab landing page, every lead that submits your form is instantly added as a subscriber in MailerLite, assigned to the groups you choose, and ready for your email sequences without any manual import.
MailerLite integrations are saved globally in your account. Once you add your MailerLite account, you can reuse it across multiple landing pages without entering your credentials again.

Before You Begin

You will need your MailerLite API key to connect the integration. To find it:
  1. Log in to your MailerLab account at app.mailerlite.com
  2. Go to Integrations in the left sidebar
  3. Click API under the Developer section
  4. Copy your API token

How to Add MailerLite

The MailerLite setup uses a 3-step wizard: connect your account, configure groups and field mapping, then review before activating.

Step 1: Connect Your MailerLite Account

1

Go to your landing page

Navigate to Landing Pages and click the name of the landing page where you want to add MailerLite.
2

Open the Integrations tab

Click Add Integration to open the integrations panel.
3

Select MailerLite

From the list of available integrations, find MailerLite (labeled as “Send leads to MailerLite in real time”) and click on it. The setup wizard will open.
4

Fill in the connection details

Enter the following:
FieldDescription
NameA label to identify this integration (e.g. “MailerLite - Auto Insurance”). Helps you recognize it in the list.
API KeyYour MailerLite API token. Paste the key you copied from your MailerLite account.
5

Click Add MailerLite

Click Add MailerLite to authenticate and move to the next step.

Step 2: Configure Groups and Map Your Fields

This step has two parts: selecting which MailerLite groups new subscribers should be added to, and mapping your form fields to MailerLite subscriber fields.
1

Select your Groups

In the Groups field, search for and select one or more MailerLite groups. Every lead submitted through this landing page will be added as a subscriber to the groups you choose here.
Groups must already exist in your MailerLite account. You cannot create new groups from this step.
2

Click Continue

Click Continue to move to the field mapping screen.
3

Map your form fields to MailerLite fields

You will see a list of all fields from your landing page form on the left, and a dropdown to select the matching MailerLite subscriber field on the right.
Form FieldMailerLite Field

Map each form field to the corresponding MailerLite field. At minimum, map Email as it is required by MailerLite to create a subscriber. All other fields are optional.Fields you do not map will not be sent to MailerLite. Use the checkboxes on the left to include or exclude fields from the sync.
LanderLab also includes system fields like LL Lander URL, LL Visitor IP, LL Visitor User Agent, LL Submission Time UTC, and LL Variant ID. You can map these to custom fields in MailerLite if you want to store tracking data alongside subscriber records.
4

Click Continue

Click Continue to move to the review step.

Step 3: Review and Connect

1

Review your integration

The final step shows a full summary of your MailerLite integration:
  • Name - the label you gave this integration
  • Configuration - the MailerLite groups leads will be added to
  • Field Mapping - the form fields being sent and which MailerLite fields they map to
If anything looks wrong, click Back to return to the previous steps and make changes.
2

Click Connect MailerLite

Click Connect MailerLite to save and activate the integration. From this point on, every lead submitted on this landing page will be sent to MailerLite in real time.

Tips for MailerLite Integration

  • Email is required - MailerLite cannot create a subscriber without an email address. Always map the email field, and make sure your form includes an email input.
  • Map Full Name carefully - MailerLite stores first and last name separately in some setups. If your form collects a single Full Name field, map it to the Full Name field in MailerLite, or split it into separate fields in your form if your MailerLite setup requires it.
  • Use groups to segment leads - Assign different landing pages to different groups in MailerLite to keep your subscriber lists organized by campaign, traffic source, or offer.
  • Test with a real submission - After connecting, submit a test lead using your landing page and verify the subscriber appears in your MailerLite account within a few seconds.
