Add TrustedForm to your landing pages in LanderLab to automatically generate a certificate for every lead submission. Use these certificates to prove consent, verify lead origin, and meet buyer compliance requirements.

What is TrustedForm?

TrustedForm is a lead certification tool by ActiveProspect. When enabled on a landing page, it runs a script in the visitor’s browser that records their session and captures key data such as their IP address, browser, timestamp, and the consent language they were shown. When the visitor submits the form, TrustedForm generates a unique certificate URL for that session and stores it alongside the lead data. This certificate acts as independent, third-party proof that the lead was collected with the proper consent, which is often required by lead buyers in verticals like insurance, home services, solar, and financial services. LanderLab handles the TrustedForm script installation for you. Once the integration is added, the script is automatically injected into your landing page and the certificate URL is captured with every lead submission.
Once you add a TrustedForm integration, it is saved globally in your account. You can reuse it across multiple landing pages without entering the details again.

How to Add TrustedForm

1

Go to your landing page

Navigate to Landing Pages and click the name of the landing page where you want to enable TrustedForm certification.
2

Open the Integrations tab

Click Add Integration to open the integrations panel.
3

Select TrustedForm

From the list of available integrations, find TrustedForm (labeled as “Verify lead consent with TrustedForm”) and click on it. A configuration form will appear.
4

Fill in the required fields

Enter the following details:
FieldDescription
NameA label to identify this integration (e.g. “TrustedForm”). Helps you recognize it when reusing across pages.
Cert URL System LabelThe hidden field name that TrustedForm uses to store the certificate URL. The default value is xxTrustedFormCertUrl and should be kept as-is unless your lead buyer or CRM requires a different field name.
The Cert URL System Label is the name of the hidden field that LanderLab will use to capture and pass the TrustedForm certificate URL with your lead data. The standard value used by TrustedForm is xxTrustedFormCertUrl. Only change this if your lead distribution platform or buyer explicitly requires a different field name.
5

Click Add TrustedForm

Click the Add TrustedForm button to save the integration. LanderLab stores this globally, so you can connect it to other landing pages later without re-entering the details.

Connect TrustedForm to Another Landing Page

Since TrustedForm integrations are saved globally, you do not need to create a new one for every landing page. You can reuse any previously saved integration across multiple pages.
1

Open a different landing page

Go to Landing Pages and click the name of the landing page where you want to use the same TrustedForm integration.
2

Add Integration

Click Add Integration. You will see your previously saved TrustedForm configurations listed. Select the one you want to connect.
3

Select variants (if applicable)

If your landing page has multiple A/B test variants, a modal will appear asking you to choose which variants should use this integration. Select the variants you want and confirm.
The variant selection modal only appears when your landing page has more than one active variant. If there is only one variant, the integration is applied automatically.
4

Save and publish

Click Save, then Publish or Republish your landing page to activate TrustedForm on the selected variants.

How TrustedForm Works

Once the integration is active on your landing page, here is what happens for every visitor:
  1. When the page loads, the TrustedForm script starts running silently in the background and begins recording the visitor’s session.
  2. As the visitor interacts with your page (scrolling, clicking, filling in form fields), TrustedForm captures this activity along with metadata like their IP address, browser, and the consent language shown on the page.
  3. When the visitor submits the form, TrustedForm generates a unique certificate URL for that session (e.g. https://cert.trustedform.com/xxxxxx).
  4. This certificate URL is automatically captured in the xxTrustedFormCertUrl field and stored alongside the lead data in LanderLab.
  5. The certificate URL is then passed with the lead to your CRM, lead distribution platform, or buyer so they can verify or claim it.
If you are sending leads to a platform like LeadsPedia, LeadProsper, or Phonexa, make sure you are passing the xxTrustedFormCertUrl field through your webhook or lead distribution integration. Buyers typically require this field to validate the lead before accepting it.

Why Use TrustedForm

  • Prove consent - TrustedForm captures a snapshot of your page at submission time, including the TCPA consent language the visitor was shown. This is independent proof that consent was given.
  • Meet buyer requirements - Many lead buyers in insurance, home services, solar, and financial verticals require a TrustedForm certificate before they will accept or pay for a lead.
  • Reduce compliance risk - With a certificate attached to every lead, you have an audit trail that can protect you in the event of a TCPA complaint or dispute.
  • Improve lead quality - Buyers who can verify certificate data (IP, user agent, timestamps, page session) are more confident in the quality of your leads, which can lead to higher acceptance rates and better payouts.

Common Questions

Do I need a TrustedForm account? TrustedForm Certify (generating certificates) is free. You do not need an account for LanderLab to generate certificates on your pages. However, if you want to retain certificates for longer than 90 days or use TrustedForm’s Verify and Insights features, you will need a paid ActiveProspect account. What happens if I do not pass the certificate URL to my buyer? The certificate will still be generated, but if it is not claimed within 90 days it will expire. Always make sure the xxTrustedFormCertUrl field is being passed through your lead distribution integration to the final buyer. Can I change the Cert URL System Label? Yes, but only do this if your lead buyer or CRM explicitly requires a different field name. The default xxTrustedFormCertUrl is the industry-standard field name recognized by most platforms automatically.
