## What is TikTok Pixel?

TikTok Pixel is a piece of JavaScript code that runs in the visitor's browser. When someone visits your landing page or takes an action like clicking a button, submitting a form, or completing a purchase, the pixel fires an event and sends that data back to TikTok.

This allows TikTok to track which visitors came from your ads, measure conversions, build custom audiences for retargeting, and optimize ad delivery to find users who are most likely to convert.

LanderLab handles the pixel installation for you. Instead of manually adding code to your page, you simply enter your TikTok Pixel ID and LanderLab takes care of the rest.

<Note>
  Once you add a TikTok Pixel integration, it is saved **globally** in your account. You can reuse it across multiple landing pages without entering the details again.
</Note>

## Why Use TikTok Pixel

Adding TikTok Pixel to your landing pages allows you to:

* **Track conversions** - Measure page views, form submissions, sign-ups, purchases, and other actions that happen after someone clicks your TikTok ad.
* **Build custom audiences** - Create retargeting audiences based on visitor behavior so you can re-engage people who showed interest but did not convert.
* **Optimize ad delivery** - Give TikTok more conversion data so its algorithm can optimize your campaigns and find users who are most likely to take action.
* **Measure campaign ROI** - Connect your ad spend directly to landing page results and identify which campaigns, ad groups, and creatives drive the best performance.
