# LanderLab AI Assistant: Build and Edit Landing Pages with AI

> Learn how the LanderLab AI Assistant builds and edits landing pages from plain English. Add context, use skills, connect your tools, and track AI credits.

The **AI Assistant** is built into the LanderLab editor. Describe what you want in plain English and it builds, edits, and optimizes your landing page for you, right on the canvas. You can give it extra context, teach it repeatable tasks with skills, and connect it to the tools you already use.

## What you can do with the AI Assistant

* **Build or restructure a page**, for example turn a product page into an advertorial or listicle pre-lander.
* **Write and rewrite copy**, including headlines, offers, and calls to action.
* **Fix layout and design** on desktop and mobile.
* **Set up tracking**, so URL parameters pass through to links and leads, and conversion events fire correctly.
* **Audit a page for conversions** and apply the fixes.
* **Use data from your tools**, such as campaign data from ClickFlare or competitor pages from AdPlexity.

## How the AI Assistant works

    Open any landing page in the editor. The AI Assistant chat panel sits next to the canvas.

  <Step title="Describe what you want">
    Type your request in the prompt box and send it. Be specific about the goal, the audience, and what should change.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Let the AI plan and work">
    The AI breaks your request into a short task list and works through it step by step. You can follow its progress in the chat. To stop it at any time, click the **Stop** button.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review and keep iterating">
    Check the result on the canvas, on both desktop and mobile. Send a follow-up message to adjust anything, or edit the page by hand.

## The + menu

Click **+** in the prompt box to give the AI more to work with.

| Option                | What it does                                                                                           |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Attach files**      | Upload images or reference files for the AI to use.                                                    |
| **Take a screenshot** | Capture a screenshot so the AI can see exactly what you see.                                           |
| **Add context**       | Pull in content from another page so the AI can reuse it. See [Add context](/features/ai/add-context). |
| **Skills**            | Run a built-in or custom skill for a specific task. See [Skills](/features/ai/skills).                 |
| **Connectors**        | Let the AI use data from connected apps and MCP servers. See [Connectors](/features/ai/connectors).    |

## AI credits

Every AI request uses **AI credits**. Your remaining balance is shown below the prompt box. Larger requests, like rebuilding a full page, use more credits than small edits.
